Good morning and happy Thursday!
This has been an incredibly stressful week, but I’m happy to report that Sarge had a successful back surgery, and should be coming home this weekend. I’ve had many sleepless nights, which resulted in a lot of painting! During this time, I think I’ve finally found my niche as far as subject material. I believe my strength is in landscapes, whether with other elements or without…land and sky are my ‘thing’. It’s wonderful to finally have that figured out!
I’ve attached a couple of my new mini oils, and have a couple of large paintings in the works. I also have a friend who has just moved into a new home, and I’ve been asked to paint a very narrow, long painting with a barn. I’m super excited!
Last week, I was approved to be a resident artist at Gallery 246 in Batesville, AR! As soon as Sarge recovers, I’ll bring some paintings there and get my booth set up. It’s a 2 hour drive, so I will make as few trips as possible.
Lastly, I’ve also attached some lovely photos of radishes we harvested last weekend from our raised garden…they are delicious!
Have a wonderful day!
