Tis the season for Starbucks Holiday Spice Flat Whites…oh joy!!!!
Thank goodness it’s almost Friday! The busyness continues at our house, and it’s only hit me today how close Christmas is. I need to get busy buying and wrapping gifts, as well as cleaning that house! I’ve been in the mood to minimalize so hopefully I’ll get a lot of de-cluttering done over the weekend.
On the painting front, I’ve been pretty doing quite a bit of painting when I can squeeze it in. I’ve done a couple of small oil on paper, which I will sell framed from my website. This weekend, I really need to work on the gypsy and the large marsh paintings I have started. It’s a little hard to focus on painting when I’d rather be baking.
I’ve made a few loaves of banana nut bread, which my husband loves. I’ve also got a great recipe for espresso thumbprint cookies that I can’t wait to try 🙂 This, of course, will lead to some weight gain, so I’ve got to clean my studio up a bit and try to exercise every morning and evening.
The pics in today’s post are of my two babies, Sarge and Scrat, and one of my paintings on paper called River Haze. The other is the one of the many gorgeous sunsets I get to see every day from the dining room window.
Have a great day and check back for new paintings!
