I’m writing this post late Sunday night, but already dreading Monday! I never seem to get caught up at home, or have adequate time to paint. 😕 I still haven’t moved into Gallery 246, and really hope there is still room for me in a few weeks. I have so many canvases and should have more time to paint since hunting season is just around the corner.
I’ve been really busy the past couple of weeks. I had 2 orders from my Etsy shop in one night. A customer wanted two of my White Sheep paintings…one 36 x 36 that was in stock, and a 20 x 24 (pictured) that is a custom order. She was very happy with the one I shipped, and hopefully will be just as happy with the custom painting.
Also pictured is a gypsy painting I started this weekend. I think this must be my true self. I frequently think of a bohemian life with minimal possessions and time to myself. There’s a part of me who would love to have a big, minimalist loft apartment in New York and be able to live from painting sales….ah, the boho life! A girl can dream 🌻
I did a little research on glazing yesterday, so plan to do a few landscape oils to practice on. It doesn’t look very difficult, and supposedly adds a lot of depth to a painting. Stay tuned for pics!
Ta Ta for now
